Cristina Iacobone holds a B.A. In Modern Languages and Literature (English, French, and Spanish) and an M.A. In Educational Studies. She was an English as a Second Language teacher between 2011 and 2015, when she moved to the UK and specialized in teaching academic skills to international and home students at the University of York. These entailed teaching students from various departments and levels how to write academic essays, reports, case studies, and Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral thesis, as well as teaching skills to successfully plan and deliver academic presentations, and to engage in seminars in multicultural settings. She currently teaches English Composition at JCU and English exam preparation courses in another institution. During the summer, she teaches academic skills in Pre-Sessional courses at University College London.
