Ilaria Gianni is a curator and writer based in Rome. After obtaining a postgraduate degree in Art History at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, she received an MFA in Curating at Goldsmiths College. She is currently Head of Programming of the Nomas Foundation, Rome, along with curator Cecilia Canziani. She has curated a number of exhibitions.
She is founding member of the publishing collective IM projects and member of the curatorial platform Art At Work. Ilaria Gianni has collaborated with magazines such as «NERO», «Lo Specchio+», «Circa», «Flash Art», «Arte e Critica», and has contributed with texts to many catalogues, such as Domenico Mangano (Electa, Milan, 2008); Calypso (Sala Rekalde, Bilbao, 2008); Committenti, artisti, fruitori. Uno studio sull’arte pubblica in Italia a partire da IN ALTO arte sui ponteggi (Bruno Mondadori Editore, Milan, 2007).
