Giulia Daga teaches World Politics and Politics of the Middle East. She is currently also a postdoc research fellow at the School of International Studies of the University of Trento, and she was previously a research fellow in the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa Programme at IAI (Istituto Affari Internazionali). Her research looks at the links between foreign policy and identity discourses, with a focus on the GCC states' legitimisation and status-seeking strategies.
