Abstract
The aim of this thesis to go into depth into the concept of Humanitarian Intervention, and itslatest addendum: Responsibility to Protect. It will analyze its three supporting pillars and thenapply them to the cases of Libya, Syria and Yemen. All three countries underwentcircumstances of grave human right’s violations. Through this, there will be an evaluation onwhether the ideal of Responsibility to Protect is not only effective, but if the internationalcommunity is willing to commit to it. Finally, it will close on the question of whether thisconcept truthfully reached its goals.
